Supported USDT Networks
IndX supports USDT on TRC20 (Tron) and BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain). USDT on each network is the same asset name, but the networks are separate. Always send and receive on the same network.
Why the Network Matters
A blockchain can only read addresses and tokens that belong to it. If you pick the wrong network in your wallet but paste an IndX deposit address for another network, the transfer may fail or the funds may end up somewhere IndX cannot reach. Recovery, where possible at all, is slow.

USDT TRC20 (Tron)
Popular for everyday transfers because network fees are often low. The sender needs TRX (or energy/bandwidth) to pay the fee. Compare networks in TRC20 vs BEP20.
USDT BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain)
Widely used on BNB Smart Chain wallets. Fees are paid in BNB and can vary with congestion.
Sending on the Wrong Network
Stop, don’t send more, and contact support with the transaction hash, network and amount. Recovery is not guaranteed. Read what happens if you send USDT to the wrong network.
How to Check Your Network Before Sending
- Look at the deposit screen: the network name appears above the address.
- Check the address format (T… or 0x…).
- Pick exactly the same network in your sending wallet.
- Send a small test amount first.

Which network is cheaper?+
TRC20 often has lower sending fees than BEP20, but always check the current fee in your wallet before you send.
Does IndX support ERC20, Polygon or Solana USDT?+
Not at present for deposits into IndX. Do not send USDT on unsupported networks to an IndX address.
