Sell USDT in India
Sell USDT and receive INR in a bank account in your name. You see the rate and order details before you confirm in the IndX app, and you can track the payout until it reaches your bank.
How to Sell USDT
To sell USDT on IndX, you move USDT from your wallet into your IndX account, then sell it to IndX at the quoted rate. There are no third-party buyers in this flow, so you never receive a payment from a stranger’s bank account. That is a common cause of bank account freezes in peer-to-peer (P2P) trading.
Convert USDT to INR
The INR you receive is based on the USDT amount multiplied by the sell rate, minus any platform fee and any TDS shown on the order screen. Check today’s indicative rate on the USDT to INR page.
Step-by-Step Selling Process
- Log in and verify. Your profile and bank account must be completed before your first sale.
- Copy your deposit address. Select USDT, choose TRC20 or BEP20, and copy the address shown.
- Send USDT from your wallet on the same network. Start with a small test amount if you are new.
- Wait for network confirmations. The deposit is credited after the chain confirms it.
- Place the sell order. Enter the amount and review the rate and any deductions.
- Receive INR. After approval, the net amount goes to your verified bank account.

FAQs
How much will I get for my USDT?+
Multiply the USDT amount by the live sell rate shown in the IndX app, then review any platform fee and tax deductions listed before you confirm. The order screen shows the figure you are agreeing to.
Why might TDS be deducted when I sell USDT?+
Indian income tax law may require tax deducted at source on transfers of virtual digital assets above set thresholds. Where it applies, IndX should show it before you confirm. This is general information, not tax advice — confirm with a chartered accountant.
Can I receive INR in someone else's bank account?+
No. Payouts only go to a bank account in the same name as your verified IndX account.
I sent USDT on the wrong network. What now?+
Contact support with the transaction hash. Recovery is not always possible. Read what happens if you use the wrong network in our Learn hub.
Is selling on IndX the same as P2P?+
No. On IndX you sell to IndX through the app, not to another user, so you do not receive money from unknown personal bank accounts shared in a chat.
